Cultivate Your Energy Body

“The discovery that awaits us is that we ARE energy and we INHERE in energy.”Most
of us don’t have any inkling of the true power of eating in a clean,
rejuvenative way. Because a regenerative way of eating creates
outrageous health in us not just by reshuffling the meaty mechanics of
our biochemistry. Rather, it gradually transforms our cellular being
more and more into an “energy body,” and our body becomes less and less
a merely gross
“food body.” One
way a radiantly healthy diet does this, perhaps the most well known, is
simply that, by eating lots of raw, or “live” foods, we literally
consume bioelectric life force. The enzymes in live plant foods have
been well shown to be, basically, little reservoirs of life force. In
addition, the water in raw foods has a unique “colloidal energy” known
as zeta potential, having to do with positively charged particles in
the water. Actual, hard science instrumentation measures a potent
electromagnetic field surrounding and permeating raw foods. For reasons
like these, many raw foods advocates speak of eating raw foods as being
akin to “eating sunlight.”
But the topic of how our eating
helps to transmute our body into “higher energy frequencies” is
actually far more profound even than that. We are not just “soft
machines” that fare better when we “consume energy,” like a toy robot
works better with fresh batteries. The discovery that awaits us is that
we ARE energy and we INHERE in energy.
Mae Won Ho, PhD, a
biochemist, geneticist and researcher, says that, “…all organisms emit
light at a steady rate.” She calls that light a biophoton. Another
researcher, Marco Bischof, has a book called, Biophoton:The Light in
Our Cells. In it, he says, “The biophoton light is stored in the cells
of the organism, and a dynamic web of light constantly released and
absorbed may connect cells, tissues and organs within the body.”
Numerous
researchers, including Nobel scientist Candace Pert, speak not only in
terms of a light energy emitted by our cells, but go one step further,
describing a coherent, intelligent field of energy that transmits
information. Einstein’s Unified Field Theory hypothesizes that all
matter is energy organized by an underlying electrical pattern or field
within and surrounding substances. Countless scientists over the last
several decades, including Rupert Sheldrake’s M Field theory, echo
these concepts. And all of these modern conceptualizations, in turn,
echo ancient descriptions of the pranic or etheric body, as the
organizing template of our physical bodies.
If our bodies
are organized by and in energy fields, then our vision of dietary
health must go far beyond mere concerns about, “this vitamin” or “that
antioxidant.” We must begin to learn about conducting (as spiritual
teacher Adi Da describes it) and circulating energy, or light. I
believe that the most profound levels of conducting energy must involve
a deep process of opening and transforming our emotional core (which,
of course, is not the topic of this article). But the most basic or
foundational level—that’s all about what we eat!
For our
bodies to freely conduct energy, to come alive as energy, is not only
about consuming more high frequency foods (raw foods). It’s also, very
crucially, about what we don’t eat. It’s about not eating processed,
refined, fragmented, denatured foods. It’s about eating far less cooked
foods (though, in my
coaching work, I don’t teach a 100% raw foods diet).
In
short, cultivating an energy body is about cultivating a body that is
clean and light. This is a body with clean lymph, pristine extra
cellular fluid bathing all your cells. In this body, cells shine.
Energy flows freely. This is why people who eat clean, rejuvenative
diets gradually eat less and less food, often only eating two, and
sometimes one, light meal per day. Their bodies are clear, light and
beautifully efficient. They’re living more on energy than on food.
To
begin to get involved in this process, the actual dietary
recommendations are hardly new or original—gradually adapt your diet to
one of whole, unrefined foods, most of them being raw plant foods
(60%-80%), with lots of variety. But what is less known is why eating
this way creates such crazy super-health; how eating this way can
enliven, free up and “brighten” your energy body, raising your
energetic vibration. A bodymind that shines with this energy is
radiantly healthy, feeling light, dynamic and vibrantly alive. And to
think, this whole mysterious, amazing process all begins right in your
kitchen!
